About Vivolta
Vivolta is a fast-growing MedTech company specializing in the contract development and manufacturing of electrospun medical implants. As we scale our operations, we are looking for a hands-on Director of Manufacturing who will build, lead, and continuously improve our production capabilities in full compliance with the highest regulatory standards.

The role
Your focus: On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery at target cost and quality, every single day.

As Director of Manufacturing, you report directly to the CEO and are part of Vivolta’s Management Team. You lead all manufacturing operations, from day-to-day production to industrial scale-up, and own the full production supply chain. Production operators, technicians, and the procurement and logistics team report to you directly.  You work closely with the departments Engineering, Quality, Application Development, and Commercial teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and scalable production of electrospun medical implants.

What you’ll do
– Lead day-to-day manufacturing and production planning
– Drive industrial scale-up from early to commercial production
– Ensure cleanroom and equipment operational readiness
– Coach and develop your team: building a culture of clarity, accountability, and high performance
– Own short, mid, and long-term capacity planning
– Manage raw material procurement and supplier relationships
– Ensure ISO 13485 compliance at all times
– Manage manufacturing and facility budgets
– Translate Vivolta’s business objectives into clear manufacturing goals and deliverables
– Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence

What you bring
– A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline 
– At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing or operations leadership, preferably in medical devices or pharma
– Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA quality system requirements
– Proven track record in production planning, team leadership, and supplier management
– Experienced with ERP or MRP systems
– Lean or Six Sigma experience is a plus
– Fluent in Dutch and English
