This heritage underlies our talented team of engineers, scientists and specialists spanning design, process, application, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory disciplines.
VIVOLTA, formerly IME Medical Electrospinning, was founded in 2008, as a spinout of the Technical University of Eindhoven. The primary goal of the company was to solve a long-existing challenge in the biomaterials field: make electrospinning reproducible and consistent so that it can be applied in the clinic and dramatically improve people’s health. Over the years, the company established itself as a world leader in the design and supply of high-performance electrospinning equipment for R&D purposes. Over 120 IME electrospinning R&D platforms were sold and distributed across six continents, illustrating the success and reputation for quality and consistency of the brand.
