Sharing our Expertise at ELECTROSPIN 2026

VIVOLTA was proud to contribute to ELECTROSPIN 2026 in Padova, Italy, where Marc Simonet, Director of Application Development, presented “Electrospun Medical Devices – Functional Versatility and Scalable Manufacturing”.

The presentation addressed one of the central challenges in medical electrospinning: how to translate technology’s exceptional design flexibility into medical devices that can be manufactured reproducibly and at scale.

Drawing on examples from a range of medical applications, the session demonstrated how electrospun products can be tailored through precise control of material composition, fiber architecture, geometry, and functionality. The presentation also explored the pathway from innovative product concepts to robust manufacturing processes, highlighting key considerations for achieving reliable, scalable production of high-performance medical devices.

ELECTROSPIN 2026 provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge with researchers, engineers, and industry professionals who are advancing the field of electrospinning. We thank the organizers and participants for the engaging discussions and valuable insights and look forward to continuing to drive innovation in electrospun medical technologies.
